What is your opinion of book writing software like yWriter? Are outlining and storybooking important?

How do you plan out your novels? Do you outline, write by the seat of your pants, or what?

How do you recover from being in such a dark space, after writing about your psychopathic characters? Is your creativity driven by pure imagination, or are you more inspired by watching crime shows, like Dexter?

What advice would you give to a young Andrew sitting down to write Grendels Shadow?

How long before the Mayneverse crossover team-ups start? How will you write a dual or triple lead book? Sorry if there is an obvious answer? Thanks

They say write what you know and I can see major pieces of you in your characters, but they all have their own unique POVs and definitely are not you. How do you add parts of yourself over several series and yet not create a samenesss.

I've read your books on writing and you said you use note cards, I'm getting bogged down in the silly "hows" of outlining/plotting/rearranging .. I'd love some tips on this. Where do I do it? On a separate word doc? On a notebook? But then if I want to move things around how? Cross it off and smush it in on another page? If I'm using note cards do you have them stuck on a big board? I'm finding in the story I'm working on that I could benefit from some housecleaning to keep track of where I am and where I'm trying to get to. TIA!
